Volunteers are essential to our programs, from basic barn chores, helping raise donations at fundraisers, spreading our awareness within the community, helping as side walkers for therapy lessons, communication between horse and leader, and the constant care of our horses and their homes, it would nearly be impossible to serve our riders. There is a position for everyone at Kingman's Healing Hooves, both for individual and groups.
Group Volunteer Opportunities are an ideal way for churches, university student groups, high school and corporate teams to join in the Kingman's Healing Hooves community and provide unique support to our programs county wide.
All volunteers must go through an orientation before volunteering at Kingman's Healing Hooves, as much time as we put into our horses for training, it can easily be "un-trained" and the horses start learning bad habits.
