School Outreach "Field Trip to You" and Field Trips to KHH
as wellTaking the horses to the schools gives us the opportunity to educate our youth about our programs, horse anatomy, horse behavior and we can then incorporate the information into what they may be experiencing with bullying or exclusion from peers. After each presentation, the students have the opportunity to meet these amazing teachers. The horses are a wonderful tool to help people to open up on many levels and ages.
When students or groups come to our facility, we are able to offer riding services and additional hands-on activities with the other ranch animals as well where students learn the difference in touch, sounds and appearance of our animal community. We offer an opportunity for the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts an opportunity to earn their Horsemanship Badges, call for details. |
