TLearning About Horses Through the Arts
Kingman’s Healing Hooves is excited to introduce our partnership with YAE (Youth Arts Engagement) through Arizona Commission on the Arts, with a grant for our new program teaching the fundaments art skills in sketching, painting with acrylics and watercolors, photography and sculpting using the horses as their live subjects. Lessons will be taught by our volunteers with back grounds in Bachelor of Fine Arts, and artists participating in local and national competitions.
Each student will have the supplies provided to complete their project, ages range from 8-18, space is limited to 20 students and will be on a first come/first served basis.
Dates and projects listed below: Students must attend introduction class to participate in follow- up class to complete projects. Fall 2024/2025 TBD

The program is free to our community youth, art supplies are supplied by the YAE and Unisource grants, and lesson fees are covered by a portion of the KRMC grant.
