Chica

Chica is a 14 year old, 16.2 hands Thoroughbred mare weighing 1150 lbs.  She was started too early for the track and bowed a tendon, which lead to her going to several owners before ending up in the auction in Utah.  Fortunately she was rescued before the kill buyers could bid on her. Chica was only 850 lbs when we received her in 2012 and now she is well over 1150 lbs.  We have re-trained her and she absolutely loves her  job giving even our smallest of riders a lesson, going out on the obstacle course and we are looking forward to taking her out on trail rides.
