Internships are essential to our programs, from basic barn chores, helping raise donations at fundraisers, spreading our awareness within the community, helping as side walkers for therapy lessons, communication between horse and leader, and the constant care of our horses and their homes, it would nearly be impossible to serve our riders.
Minimum 4 days per week 4-6 hours per day.
Group Volunteer Opportunities are an ideal way for churches, university student groups, high school and corporate teams to join in the Kingman's Healing Hooves community and provide unique support to our programs county wide.

We are looking for those interested in learning horsemanship, horse behavior, husbandry and working with our horses on the ground and under saddle.  We have spent 1,000's of hours per horse to be the therapy team we need.  It is very easy to  "un-train" and reinforce horses to develop bad habits, we are very structured with our lessons and internships.
